Admin: Analytics

Monitor how well your knowledge system is performing: search quality, query trends, and usage analytics.

Check your knowledge base health in 10 seconds:

1

Open Analytics

Go to Intelligence > Analytics (or press ⌘K and type "analytics")

2

Check Quality Score

Look at your Quality Score: aim for 85% or higher (green)

Review Query Trends

Scroll down to see Query Trends showing the most common searches and questions from your team over time.

The Analytics page helps you understand how well your knowledge system is performing. Think of it as a health checkup for your knowledge base: it shows you what is working well and what might need attention.

RAG stands for "Retrieval Augmented Generation". It is how your knowledge system finds and uses your documents to answer questions. This tab shows you how well that process is working with three key metrics.

Key Metrics:

Quality ScoreMeasures how accurately answers are based on your documents. Excellent (85%+): Highly accurate. Good (75-84%): Generally accurate. Fair (50-74%): Room for improvement. Needs Work (<50%): Consider adding more documents.
Trust / UncertaintyShows confidence level of responses. Lower uncertainty means more reliable answers.
PerformanceAverage response time. Fast (<3s) is ideal, Slow (>5s) may indicate need for optimization.

Below the summary metrics, a query history table shows every search and question. Filter by date range, quality level, or search type. Click any query to see the full retrieval details.

FiltersDate range, quality score threshold, query type (search vs. chat), confidence level
Query DetailsEach query shows the question asked, documents retrieved, confidence score, and response quality rating
Quality Score: 85%+Indicates highly accurate, document-grounded answers
Uncertainty: Below 10%Most responses are high-confidence
Response Time: Under 3 secondsFast enough for real-time use
Query Answer Rate: 90%+Most queries return confident, well-grounded answers
Add more documentsLow quality scores often mean the knowledge base doesn't have enough information on the topic.
Improve document qualityClean, well-structured documents extract better. Remove boilerplate and duplicates.
Resolve entity conflictsDuplicate entities confuse the graph. Resolve conflicts in the Graph Conflicts tab.
Review low-confidence queriesSort by quality score to find problem areas, then add or improve relevant documents.
No data showingAnalytics require at least a few searches or chat queries to populate. Try asking some questions first.
Quality score suddenly droppedCheck if new documents were uploaded with poor content quality, or if entity conflicts are unresolved.
Query trends not updatingQuery trends update as new searches and questions are made. Allow a few days of activity for meaningful trend data to appear.
